THIS ITEM HAS SOLD! Franciscan Ware Aqua Relish Dish
This sweet little dish is a shiny glaze and in good shape. I have done a great deal of research and can’t seem to verify what the pattern name is. I would love to hear from you if you know.
The dish measures 7 x 3.5 and stands 1.25” tall. It has a tri-beveled border and the matte white under-glaze peeks over the top edges to give it a nice white rim.
The bottom shows the stamped Franciscan Ware mark and “Made in California USA”. There are also 6 manufacturing firing marks, that are from the factory and used to steady the piece while firing.
I have pointed to the one small corner that is slightly chipped. And there is one tiny discoloration on the inner side of the dish about a ¼ inch wide. Other than this there is no cracks or crazing.It is a very lovely little dish for relish, olives, pickles, or even used as an open butter dish.
