The handle is firmly in place. It turns nicely and easily. You simply place your open citrus over the dome and push and twist…the juice stays in the bowl and the spout is protected by the strainer so that no seeds slip into your glass…for a refreshingly sweet and nutritious tonicjust like Mother used to use in the 50’s!
