The Harvest Call Hymnal- 1940’s
This soft bound book with its art nouveau graphics in beige with black ink is in fair to good condition. The pages are browning, but they are in good condition with only some minor crimps and a few water marks at the edge of a few of the pages. The back cover has some child pencil markings
The spine is worn at the bottom and exposed but the whole spine is still in good condition.
This is The Hartford Music Co’s “eighth book” There is no date, but I am sure it is from the 40’s due to the style of graphics and wear and the cost of the book. They were originally 35cents per copy.
There are 140 hymns in this book including: Are you Ready?, The Great White Throne, My Little Cabin Home, and many more.
The book measures 5.5x7.75x & 1/4"thick.
