The silk embroidery threads are truly rich colors! The pics below do not do this little piece of art justice.

The adoption of different needling methods resulted in different embroidery styles and technique schools. Chinese embroidery had already reached a high level early in the Qin and Han dynasties, and silk and embroidery were the main products transported along the ancient Chinese Silk Road.
This is ready to hang or give as a gift in the gift box with handle it comes in. This is new and in perfect condition, although the gift box is starting to show some wear.
The abstract scene depicts countrymen guiding a herd of oxen through the forest with birds flying overhead and the mountain range in the background. In the foreground a little dog plays among the stream and flowers.
The frame is brown wood(?) not sure of the material. The glass is a high gloss. Also has a stand up backing. It measures: 6.5x9.5"
Sorry I don't read Chinese ...I would love it if someone could tell me what it says on the box!
