I.L Maduro Jr Maritime Panama Canal Post Card

Issac L. Maduro was a renowned Panama Post Card Maker and publisher from circa 1900 to 1929.
His Post cards are well known for his images of the construction of the Panama Canal from 1904 to 1914 .
He also makes and publishes many pieces related to the beginnings of the Republic of Panama (1900-1904). Up until 1929, he also made many cards of the canal zone and transiting ships , including this one of the USS Saratoga, in the Pedro Miguel Lock, Panama Canal.
Maduro is also well known for publishing many colorful brochures of his post cards which have been very beneficial in documenting historical data from the area and period.
The back of this card advertises Maduro’s address and “Panama Hats, Silks, French perfumes, souvenirs, etc., etc.” It is unmarked and in very good condition. It measures: 5.5x3.5
