Vintage 50’s Ashtray- Valley Vista 401
Very Retro and very cool…kidney shaped party ashtray. There enough cig slots to smoke out the largest room! But truthfully this is definitely a tobacciana collector’s find. It is that classic turquoise color.
It does have some damage. On the bottom, seen in the photos, is a crack, chip away and a hair line spider that has been patched with what looks like medical tape and seems to be doing the job very well. Very secure. The crack on the front or top of the tray, is not visible, with the exception of a very very light hairline crack. For display and to add to your collection it is in very sturdy condition and looks so very cool! There is also some rust(?) in the center of the front.
The glaze is a slightly speckled high gloss. The bottom reads “Valley Vista 401” very California! It measures 13 by 13.5 and weighs about a lb.
